Responsibilities

Ovit is currently recruiting a Head of Security Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Head of Security is responsible for developing, implementing and managing corporate Security and Safety Policies, Standards and Procedures put in place for balancing the risks of the company as well as the welfare and safety of its employees and assets. To fulfil the purpose, the Head of Security: Works directly with Ovit’s leadership team to understand strategic and tactical goals and translate into effective support on Security and Safety issues Proposes, get approvals, materializes, and monitors proper execution of the annual Security Budget Teams up with Ovit’s Corporate team, transferring and adopting all company’s related policies and procedures. Conducts regular / random inspections and audits to all Branches in order to reassure that proper security policies are implemented

Requirements

Seasoned security professional (expected equivalent experience +/- 10 years) with business acumen and an exemplary work ethic, coming from military forces and / or an equivalent law enforcement bodies, but further able to comprehend multinational private entity’s functions and mindset. Deep knowledge of up-to-date Safety and Security Technologies especially in the IT sector Demonstrated ability to take initiatives, to successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines Ability to successfully interact at all levels of Ovit’s organization, including clients, while functioning as a team player Fluency in English Very good knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel) Attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team Proactiveness and self-motivation Very good communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills Sufficient knowledge of private security industry in Greece, is also preferable
